Terms and Conditions for Awards
The Grant Application Process
There is only one round of grant funding each year. The grant round in
2008 will start in June. A call for proposals will be made in the journal ‘Nature’.
We will ask for a preliminary application that gives details of the proposed
work, its relevance to CGD and approximate costings for the work.
Preliminary application form
Selected applicants are then asked to complete a full grant application form.
All applications are fully peer reviewed. The grant applications and the reviewers’ comments
are considered by our Medical and Scientific Advisory Panel who pass their
recommendations for funding to our board of Trustees. Final funding decisions
for grant applications received in 2008 will be made in March 2009.
